Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) continues to establish itself as the best business school in Portugal, according to the new edition of the Financial Times ranking, and is ranked 21st among the best schools in Europe. Nova SBE is also the only Portuguese school to make the TOP 25 in the three-year consolidated ranking, where it is ranked 24th. Â
The results of the Financial Times European Business Schools ranking, released this Monday, show that Nova SBE has climbed three places in the ranking of the best schools in Europe and consolidated its global position, having climbed six places since 2021. This year, the school once again reached 11th place worldwide, remaining the national leader - in the Financial Times International Master's in Finance ranking.
It is also important to mention that in 2023 Nova SBE achieved the best position ever for a Portuguese school in the international executive education ranking: 18th in the world and 15th in Europe. Also noteworthy is Nova SBE's 15th place - and the only Portuguese school in the world's TOP 15 - in the list of the best International Master's in Management in the world.
"By reaching the best position ever achieved by a national school in these rankings, the results obtained prove Nova SBE's upward trajectory at a national and, above all, international level. It is the consolidation of the path we have and will continue to follow and the confirmation of the excellence we practice every day in our community. The rise in position of other Portuguese business schools is proof that Portugal can assert itself internationally and grow as a destination country to study in, as well as contributing strongly to its reputation in terms of higher education on a global scale," said Pedro Oliveira, Dean of Nova SBE.
The Financial Times ranking of European business schools evaluates the best 90 business schools in Europe and is based on the overall scores that each school obtained for each ranking in the Financial Times International Masters in Management, Executive Education, MBA and EMBA rankings .
