The fourth edition of the Open Innovation program START and CO., an initiative that results from the partnership between Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) and Nestlé Portugal, came to an end this month with three finalist projects, which now move on to the co-creation phase.
Nova SBE wants to take a step forward in its mission to positively impact society, contributing to a new paradigm of Sustainable Prosperity. To fulfil this mission, it has created the Nova SBE Sustainability Journey - a collection of educational programmes, events and conferences, debates and cultural activities -, dedicated to sustainability, which will take place between June 20 and July 1, at the Carcavelos campus.

Under the central theme "The Purpose Generation: Becoming the Changemakers of Tomorrow", the Estoril Conferences will take place on September 1 and 2, 2022, at Nova SBE, with a two-day agenda focused on seven main global challenges. It will be broadcasted online and feature live interactions on stage with other universities worldwide to hold their local events.
Over the next few weeks, Nova SBE Innovation Ecosystem will dynamise, alongside the start-ups incubated in this ecosystem, resident members, and partners, several "Fire Starting the Innovation Circle" sessions, which will take place at Nova SBE's Carcavelos campus, in the Westmont Hospitality Hall.
The launch of the 24th edition of PME Magazine, under the theme "valuing the employee" will take place on April 19th, at Nova SBE campus. The event will feature a presentation by Filipa Martins, CEO of Edenred Portugal, the multinational that created the meal title and specialises in social benefits.
