Nova SBE Executive Education

Five alumnae of the Postgraduate Course in Health Management were distinguished with the 2nd prize for oral communication, entitled "Strategies for organizational growth and health safety: Pilot Project in a FHU", at ACONTECE 22, the 13th National Meeting of FHUs. The award-winning project was developed as part of the strategic challenge of the graduate course they were attending at Nova SBE.

Nova SBE has a new area for coffee breaks. The space and concept were created so that the participants of all executive education programs can ensure the best cognitive performance.

NOS and Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) signed a protocol with the aim of implementing the Data for a Better Future Initiative (DfBF) project, created to put Data Science at the service of the development of a more sustainable future, bringing together the resources and expertise of a number of specialized organizations.

JUSTICE LAB, an advanced program of innovation and culture, developed by Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE), ISEG and the Portuguese Justice, through the Institute of Financial Management and Justice Equipment (IGFEJ), began in October. The program is addressed to a hundred leaders and project managers of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) and of all services and entities in the sphere of justice.

It was during the xBA and WLP Summit, on October 28, that Cristina Cassis, alumna of the Women's Leadership Program (WLP) - an executive program resulting from the partnership between Nova SBE and the Brazilian school StarSe - presented the book "From the ordinary to the extraordinary", which she says was inspired by the lessons she learned during the program. The publication also includes five testimonials from former WLP students.

The fourth edition of the postgraduation in Supply Chain Management at Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) began on October 17. This course lasts six months and has a partnership with the José Neves Foundation, and participants may apply for scholarships under the ISA FJN program.

Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) has once again brought together students, companies, and experts to find solutions to real challenges facing the Semapa Group. The Semapa Hackathon, which took place at the Carcavelos campus on September 15, had 50 participants - 28 employees of the organization, 14 of whom participated in the "Future Proof Leadership" program, and 22 students from eight different backgrounds.
