Alisson Ávila

Alisson Ávila has over 25 years of experience in the fields of Research and Strategy, Innovation Management, and Marketing and Communication, having worked in Lisbon, São Paulo, and Porto Alegre. As Head of Innovation for the Nova SBE Innovation Ecosystem, he was a co-founder of Couture, a pioneering company in Portugal in the fields of Applied Ethnography and Business Anthropology, and a co-founder, Head of Innovation, and Principal of Communication & Knowledge at the consulting firm Beta-i. Alisson is the co-creator of the Co-Innovation Builder, a tool for planning and managing collaborative innovation projects that has been validated by nearly 3,000 people worldwide, and serves as a Strategy and Planning consultant for companies in Portugal and Brazil. He has served as a guest lecturer on Cross-Cultural Insights and Entrepreneurship & Innovation in Digital Businesses, and is the creator and co-founder of the Portugal Tech League, a platform for discussing public policies related to innovation and the digital economy. In addition to volunteering with the Social Good Accelerator project, Alisson is passionate about music and cultural heritage, and is involved in the arts community as a curator and programmer for the international visual arts project Loops.Expanded, in partnership with the National Museum of Contemporary Art, and VEM – Videoarte em Movimento: a van screening films under the open sky along a route between Lisbon and Madrid.
