ach year, Marketeer magazine draws up a list of the most outstanding brands and professionals in Portugal and then recognizes them with an award. In all, there are 34 categories covering areas as distinct as Art and Culture, Fashion and Accessories, Telecommunications or Education, and the list of nominees is the result of a cross evaluation by the editorial staff and the Editorial Board of the magazine.
This year, and given the current context, the voting deadline was extended until May 31st, and the awarding of the Marketeer Awards of this 12th edition took place yesterday, July 16th, at O Clube - Monsanto Secret Spot, in Lisbon.
This year, and once again, Nova SBE was nominated in the category of Universities and Teaching Establishments alongside schools such as Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics, Católica Porto Business School, ISEG - Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão da Universidade de Lisboa and ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, having been recognized by the prestigious publication as the big winner. See the list of the other winners here.
Over 40 years, Nova SBE has become a reference in higher education and this success is due to the demanding and rigorous way in which it approaches teaching and research, the desire to internationalise and its culture, which is naturally daring and avant-garde. It is with pride that it receives this distinction, which elects it as the educational institution that has stood out the most in the sector, and it is with determination that it assumes that it will continue to foster its open, inclusive and innovative spirit that it hopes will always take it one step further: towards the horizon.
On receiving this award, Pedro Brito, Associate Dean for Executive Education & Business Transformation at Nova SBE, said:
"I believe that this recognition is only possible when organisations are consistent in living their values and vision. Nova SBE has done just that, both from an educational perspective and in terms of service to the community. In an educational dimension, the constant rise in the international rankings of master's degrees and executive training is a sign of that. In the dimension of service to the community, I would highlight, with some pride, the initiative We all have a role to play that sought to respond to the pandemic context through the dissemination of useful knowledge for the current context and impact projects, involving almost a hundred students in supporting SMEs nationwide".
