The 13th edition of the Marketeer Awards aimed to recognise the brands in various areas that made a difference in Portugal in 2020. The ceremony took place this Thursday, July 1, at O Clube - Monsanto Secret Spot, in Lisbon.

Nova SBE won the award in the "Universities and Teaching Establishments" category, distinguishing itself from the other seven finalists by achieving the best evaluations, in a first phase, for nomination, by the editorial staff and the Editorial Board of Marketeer, which elected the establishments according to the marketing strategies and actions developed throughout 2020. The final verdict was given by the readers of Marketeer, who could vote online for their favourite candidate until the end of May 2021.

"The last year has tested the resilience of us all. Although we live in an increasingly interconnected world, imposed confinement and social distance have extrapolated growing feelings of loneliness. And alone, we do not feel safe. In addition, the challenges of globalisation, technology and sustainability further intensify a growing sense of uncertainty and fear of the future. We believe that as a school we have a key role to play in changing this paradigm. We want to support not only students, but also professionals, businesses and society in changing this sense of individual fear into collective hope. And we have the ability to give the community the necessary tools and knowledge so that we can all face this future with more confidence, more competently in the various roles we play and in the paths we choose.

It is undoubtedly extremely rewarding to realize that the community returns this recognition and is involved in building and strengthening our brand," said Susana Ferreira, Director for Marketing & Communication at Nova SBE Executive Education.
