Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) was once again distinguished by the Financial Times Ranking, released at the beginning of December, placing it in the top 30 of the best business schools in Europe.

The ranking places Nova SBE in 27th position, highlighting its title as the best qualified Portuguese education institution in the prestigious Financial Times list.

For Daniel Traça, Nova SBE's Dean, "it is an enormous satisfaction to continue to appear in this prestigious ranking as the highest ranked Portuguese school, in recognition of the school's commitment to consolidate its academic offer of master's degrees and executive training, based on sustained growth, a culture of innovation and excellence and internationalisation in master's degrees and executive education. While occupying this position makes us very proud, it also brings us an added responsibility to continue to distinguish ourselves by the quality we deliver in teaching, research, and impact contribution to an increasingly sustainable and global society."

The Financial Times ranking of the best European business schools evaluated a total of 95 institutions, based on the overall scores each school obtains for each classification it participates in, such as MBA, Executive Education, Masters in Management and EMBA.

In 2021, Nova SBE is ranked 24th with The Lisbon MBA, a programme developed in partnership with Católica-Lisbon and in collaboration with MIT Sloan. The school's Master in Management is ranked 22nd and its open and customised executive education programmes are ranked 26th and 29th, respectively.

In 2020, Nova SBE Executive Education had already been distinguished as the best in the country, renewing the title for the second consecutive year.
