Following Karl Weick's advice (who advocates that if you want to learn about organisations, study something else), the leadership professors at Nova SBE Executive Education brought together a class and five experts from each domain to study successful teams in sport, music and elite forces. The lines that follow are the result of several discussion sessions, with the ambitious agenda of understanding the ingredients that make up a successful team.

We followed the experience of Carlos Enes, Managing Director at EcoFirma, who chose the General Management Course (CGG) for its teaching staff and the opportunity to interact with different profiles of participants, from the most varied areas.

We follow the experience of Joana Rivotti, a medical doctor by training, who decided to completely change her professional path and participated in the General Management Course (GGC) to acquire new skills and experience good networking in the expectation that new doors will open to start her own business.

We followed the experience of João Silva, Director of the Millennium BCP Prestige Centre, who invested in the General Management Course (CGG) to make up for the lack of knowledge in the area of Management, where he hopes to transpose all the knowledge and networking acquired into his professional life, becoming a more complete professional and able to pass on additional skills to his teams.

Nova SBE launched the first program for executives in Cultural Heritage Management in Portugal, in partnership with Spira and sponsored by the Millennium BCP Foundation. The 1st edition is scheduled to start on 16 February 2018 and will run until 22 June.
