Nova SBE was one of the 31 companies recognised by the Superbrands awards, and the only Portuguese university to receive the distinction.
The award was given in the category of Coporate Superbrands, which aims to highlight the most relevant brands in the market from the perspective of a group of procurement professionals. This was the first year in which the category was among the laureates, to distinguish the Brands of Excellence in Portugal within the Business to Business universe.
In this category were also distinguished the brands APCER, dreamMedia, Firmo, ISQ, PHC and Trivalor.
The choice of winners in each category is made independently. The nominees were taken from the initiative's Consumer Survey, which counted on over a thousand interviews with men and women, to identify personalities and organisations in the four categories. Subsequently, the Superbrands Council, composed of 16 personalities linked to marketing, advertising and brand management, from large national and international companies present in Portugal, as well as from universities, made its assessment from among the range of nominees.
